Throughout different time periods and civilizations come many different types of fine art that would under no circumstances be similar to those of another time or perhaps place. You can also get the pieces that come via a completely distinct time and place, but yet they will still be when compared with one another. The Torso of any God (Egyptian, New Kingdom, Dynasty 18, last 10 years of the rule of Amenhotep III, Granodiorite, 1359-1349 B. C. ) and the Figurine of Asklepios (Greek, Hellenistic period, Pentelic Marble, next century B. C. ) are two sculptures built hundreds of years a part, yet they will both screen many commonalities and show how art is consistently changing even though keeping the same core concepts.

The Torso of any God can be described as sculpture located at the Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco. The sculpture is of a pharaoh holding an employee in front of its chest together with his left hand. In the right hand he is keeping something that may perhaps be a bell or a important, by his side. The piece looks as though this never had legs beyond daylight hours knees because of the stability that exists and the fact that it appears to be flat around the area it sits on. The head provides broken off so that only the headpiece and beard is visible and it is broken at an angle the right shoulder joint is missing as well. The left arm is usually missing except for the hand and make. The back in the piece is usually flat that the piece was actually located against a wall membrane. This part is about one meter tall approximately two toes wide. The piece is smooth across and even though certain areas are carved away, the piece still has a smooth glossy seem. The sculpture is wearing some kind of skirt that covers the area from the hips right down to underneath of the part. It also appears to be the The almighty is wearing a bracelet on his right arm as well as a necklace underneath the beard and headpiece.
